30. The magical age where they say
life is just about to begin. This is the age people say that the pressures of
being single when all of your friends are either married, have kids, or have died
suddenly while exercising. In short, it’s a reminder that the past 29 years of
your life has ended and you’re all good to go.
Glamour magazine has converted
their ever-famous article to a book, as what I have read on http://www.a-writer.com/. “30 Things Every Woman Should Have and
Should Know by the Time She's 30,” is a list of 30 things you should have and
know by the time you hit the big 3-0.
The
list has circulated for almost 12 years in emails, snail mails, and have been
attributed to different famous authors such as Maya Angelou and even Hillary
Clinton.
Here are a few of the things in the
list that I will work very hard to attain this year:
Things I Should have:
A decent piece of furniture not
previously owned by anyone else in your family.
A set of screwdrivers, a cordless
drill and a black lace bra.
A skin-care regimen, an exercise
routine and a plan for dealing with those few other facets of life that don’t
get better after 30.
Things I should know:
How you feel about having kids.
How to kiss in a way that
communicates perfectly what you would and wouldn’t like to happen next.
Not to apologize for something that
isn’t your fault.
