US Standard 10-Kilo Carry-On Luggage, a Challenge for Women

Women are known for being "minimalist", especially involving anything that makes them pretty and fab like clothes and beauty kits (read: sarcasm as I write my essay).

Do you wonder their dilemma when asked to pack a 10-kilo carry-on luggage for a 2-week to a month out of town or out of the country trips? It is actually somehow impossible but very challenging. To help on this challenging travel dilemma, below are some tips on how you can maximize the standard weight capacity of your backpack with travel essentials not exceeding 10kg.

Bring only a week-worth of clothes

It is indeed a challenge to carry only a very limited weight of luggage that should include everything you need, much more if the trip would take 2-week or 1-month. Women would always prefer to wear fresh clothes everyday of course. She also worry of leaving something she need behind because of the limitation set at various airport terminals. Yes, paying for additional baggage is an option but what if there are other ways like having some basic outfits that you can easily mix and match and a detergent powder you can use for washing clothes. Applicable and simple right? Let your outfit be more lively and colorful by adding some accessories in it, a bright colored scarf that would do.

Think towel as just an option

If you will be living in a hotel, then bringing towel is no longer needed. For other type of accommodation, a microfiber towel or even a simple lightweight sarong would do.

Limit your toiletries

Bring with you only the basics like shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, and lotion. Make sure to transfer the content of those bulky container beauty must have in a smaller storage to have only what you can use. I personally reuse those small lotion bottles from hotels. Keep these toiletries in a ziplock bags to avoid issues like spilling of liquid materials into clothes.

Limit your electronic gadgets

A gadget is one of the major contributor of weight in a traveler's luggage. Make it a point to bring what you think you need or can really use in a span of your stay like mobile phones and laptop.

Why College Students Lose Their Appetite During their First Year

Losing appetite is one of those things that are not usually talked but is commonly experienced by college students especially those who are in their first year.

I experienced this phenomenon, for lack of a better word, two weeks into my freshman year.  All I ate back then was pesto and iced tea, which was part of the menu of a small cafe two blocks away from school. I didn’t notice that it was becoming a regular habit until one rainy evening, when I was stuck in the arts and sciences building and the food available was a hotdog and coke. Most of the students ate those because of starvation.  For some reason, I didn’t ate even if the last time I munched on something was six hours ago.

It took me a month to realize that I was homesick and yearning for home-cooked food were the reasons that I lost my appetite.  After that rainy evening, outrageous thoughts popped inside my head to the point where I thought I was pregnant – I wasn’t, had my period three days after that stormy night.

If you are or had similar experiences, the following maybe the reason why you lost your appetite on your freshman year.
1.        You’re in a period of adjustment – your body and mind are united to the fact that you are in a new environment. Breaking away from norms can have odd effects to a person.
2.       You’re homesick – this is a normal phase for students.  You miss home, your bed, your family, your neighbourhood, everything that you grew up with.
3.       You’re eating schedule is changing abruptly – at home, you have a regular eating schedule, once you enter college, the time you eat depends on your class schedule.

Can I Also Have a Perfect Skin?

The probability of having a natural perfect skin is very possible, but it requires discipline and a lot of your attention.

Below are some of the tips and tricks you could easily apply and follow at a regular basis to maintain the radiance of that healthy beautiful skin.

Be mindful of your skin's exposure to harmful bacterias.
You may not notice it much but your skin is often in contact with harmful bacterias like germs that damage your skin. You get in contact with dirt through dirty makeup brushes you use on your face and your pillow with spots of saliva, skin oils and hair dandruffs. To reduce your skin's contact with germs, make it a point to regularly change your pillow and wash your makeup tools.

Clean your skin properly.
A person with an oily skin tends to over-clean himself so to remove the oil and bacteria, unknowingly causing skin to dry out and leads to clog pores. Best to do is to wash it two times a day with water and a PH nuetral cleanser. Doing this will not only remove bacteria, but will help retain skin moisture.

Eat balance diet.
"You are what you eat," they say. The saying is true. Whatever you consume reflects on the outside. Therefore, you should watch what you eat and with balance for you to have that beautiful looking skin. A simple tip, go for organic foods like fruits , vegetables and foods high in  omega-3 fatty acids and less on canned or preservative foods.

Drink spearmint tea.
Study shows that drinking spearmint tea helps on addressing the hormonal imbalance most women experience. This result is due to the noted anti-androgen properties found in spearmint tea, which will be an aid on preventing acne growth and related skin problems.

Learn to manage stress.
Dermatologists mentioned that too much stress in a person, especially on women, can cause or worsen skin problems like acne. Stress tends to stimulate production of oil that may clog pores that leads to different skin problems. Thus, regular physical activities, resting or being engaged in a hobby is highly recommended to deal with stress. Doing so would be beneficial on keeping your skin clear and spot-free.

How to Handle Stretch Marks After Pregnancy

One of the after pregnancy dilemma women have is the appearance of an off-color hue in the different parts of their body, known as "stretch marks." These marks are said to be the result of the abrupt stretching of the skin related to the instant growth or rapid weight loss. Affected are not only those who gaved birth to a child, but those related with weight gain, genetic influence and puberty.

Since having stretch marks is a known concern of women, a number of studies have been made to address this issue.

Studies showed that radiotherapy, lazer treatment, and over-the-counter creams and oils can be an aid to this dilemma. Yes, these suggested solutions work, but they don't completely remove stretch marks. It will fade over time though.

But there are some ways to prevent having stretch marks on your body, so read on.

Use skin moisturizer
Using moisturizer keeps your skin more hydrated and more pliable. And when your skin is stretched, going back to its original form will be more receptive.

Mind your diet
Rapid weight loss or weight gain is not highly suggested. Such change will reflect on your skin, like having stretch marks. Therefore, opt for a healthy lifestyle, especially when it comes to food.

Treat the marks on its early stage
As stretch marks started showing on red or purple colors, treat it! Apply vitamin C together with products that contains retinoids or glycolic acid. It will result to higher production of collagen which can be responsible for strengthening the skin and its elasticity.

1-2-3 Ways That Would Make You Flaunt Your Curly Hair

I used to have long straight hair when I was a kid. Until my mother decided to cut it short to manage my hair problems and head lice - as advised by a trusted writer from A-Writer.com. Her strategy worked, but soon after that hair cut, I don't know why or how, my long straight hair becomes curly.

Back then, I considered curly hair as like having a bad hair day. To make me feel better, I always do hair treatments. Until I learned to love its natural style. I find it naturally sexy. I did my own research on how to manage it well and applied it. It works for me till now, thus I'm sharing it with you here. Read on!

1. Get a proper haircut.
It is the first way to manage a unruly straight or curly hair. A hair cut below shoulder or wilng long layers is highly suggested.

2. Wash your curls the right way.
Don't shower your hair with warm water, it will do harm to your hair's cuticle. When you shampoo, do it every other day. Daily hair conditioning is good though. Another tip, after you apply conditioner, comb it with your hand then rinse. Remove the excess water using a towel. Use anti-frizz product and let it dry naturally.

3. Find the right product that suits your hair type.
Learn to read the hair care product labels. Some of the recommended ingredients you must note of are glycerin and keratin. Avoid oil based styling products. Like hair dryer, oil produce heat, if both were combined will it still be a surprise if you'll have frizzy hair?

Hope its wonders work for you, as it did to me. ;)

5 Habits You Do That Damages Your Hair

Hair, as they say, is a woman's crowning glory. What if there's nothing to be glorified with your hair because it's badly damaged - dull, dry and frizzy. You often ask yourself "why?"

Here are some of the possible habits or reasons you are unaware you do that damages that "crowning glory." Also provided are the tips and solution to such bad hair days.

1. Exposure to hair chemicals.
Your hair is a fiber protected by a cuticle. When this cuticle gets damage because of some chemicals applied to the hair, the inner fiber gets affected. Regular visits to salon that offer hair treatment services including perming and bleaching de-structure your hair. It also removes the protein bonds of your hair that makes it strong and shiny.

2. Use of heat for hair styling.
Daily exposure of the hair to heat (e.g. hair dryers and flat or curling irons) makes the hair cuticle cracks which removes its moisture. As a result, the hair becomes dry and brittle. If this case is unavoidable, your option is to use heat protectant products such as serums and leave-on conditioners as a protective barrier from the heat.

3. Use of wrong combs.
There are different combs that varies in shapes and sizes. Each has its proper usage, take advantage of it. For example, boar-bristle brushes for fine to medium haired women and brushes with spaced bristles with a coated tips for thick or curly haired girls. Another tip is the use of wide-toothed comb for after shower hair.

4. Frequency of washing your hair.
You need to shampoo your hair clean your scalp and oil build-up. But too much of it could remove the hair moisture which will make it dry and dull. Avoid using shampoo everyday, do it every other day, especially if yours is on the dry type.

5. Improper hairstyling.
You also need to mind the way you style your hair, the hair accessories you used in styling like ponytails. Too tight hair styles may damage or break the strands of your hair. You better keep it loose or lay it down sometime to avoid further damage.

Fashion for Less: Clothing Essentials in College

In college, you  also need to pay attention to your clothes, for your comfort and convenience - physically and financially.

Let us say you are attending custom essay writing activities held outdoors, during summer, would you be able to work well with thick long sleeves blouse on? Note that your primary concern should always be educational expenses, and academic trainings like those provided to an aspiring professional essay writer.
You do not have to grow your closets as if you are competing with Suri Cruise’s shoe and apparel collection, but you ought to invest on few pieces that can be of good use, during your entire stay in the university.

Let’s begin this clothing advisory.

Stock up undergarments. Let’s face it, you will have to do the laundry on your own. You can bring your clothes to laundry shops if you have extra money to spend, or go back home during free days so you can save on laundry fees. However, you may get too busy with all the custom essay writing on a-writer.com course works, that you would not have enough time to run errands. At least with several undergarments, you will not have to panic.

Keep dark colored jeans. Jeans are perfect anytime of the year and never go out of style, so ensure that you have them packed on your closet. You can mix and match jeans with various top types, and presto, you instantly come up with a new look. You can even imitate the look of a famous essay writer in school. The trick to keeping your jeans looking new is to avoid frequent washing and ironing, as how you refrain from using your favorite shoe especially if you are always on the go, attending custom essay writing seminars.

Raid your parent’s closets. The more frequent you use your clothes, the faster they will wear out. Invest on cheap and versatile clothes. As much as possible, ditch those outfits that are good for use only on a particular occasion. What you need most are casual clothes. Raid your mother or your father’s closet and borrow old clothes they no longer use. Choose those that never run out of style such as simple tees, or plain collared tops.

Do not throw away old pieces. Fashion trends are not like custom essay writing topics that lose its appeal after being discussed repeatedly.

Buy quality coats. Just because you see that a coat is cheap does not mean it is a practical buy. Durability and reliability should always be included in the equation. Where is the sense in purchasing 3 coats on-sale when they all are disposable only after a month use? It is wiser to purchase one coat that comes in a neutral color- black or gray, that will last for 2 years, maybe even when you are already a professional essay writer.

Mix and match. Sometimes, all it takes to lighten up a gloomy day, after your custom essay writing assignments were again returned for revision, is attracting positive vibes by the clothes you wear.

When you are happy with your outfit, you also feel good about yourself. Refrain from wearing the same combination and type of clothes everyday, or you will seem like you are a boring person, when the truth is that you only feel lazy trying other clothes on.

Watch what you wear, sparingly. Custom essay writing tasks and collecting clothes are comparable in the sense that you need to exercise resourcefulness in both endeavors. While it is necessary to watch what you wear, ensure as well, that you pay more attention to school matters.

Do You Know Everything There Is About Being 30?

30. The magical age where they say life is just about to begin. This is the age people say that the pressures of being single when all of your friends are either married, have kids, or have died suddenly while exercising. In short, it’s a reminder that the past 29 years of your life has ended and you’re all good to go.

Glamour magazine has converted their ever-famous article to a book, as what I have read on http://www.a-writer.com/. “30 Things Every Woman Should Have and Should Know by the Time She's 30,” is a list of 30 things you should have and know by the time you hit the big 3-0.

The list has circulated for almost 12 years in emails, snail mails, and have been attributed to different famous authors such as Maya Angelou and even Hillary Clinton.

Here are a few of the things in the list that I will work very hard to attain this year:

Things I Should have:
A decent piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in your family.
A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill and a black lace bra.
A skin-care regimen, an exercise routine and a plan for dealing with those few other facets of life that don’t get better after 30.

Things I should know:
How you feel about having kids.
How to kiss in a way that communicates perfectly what you would and wouldn’t like to happen next.
Not to apologize for something that isn’t your fault.
